Dispatch from major Indonesian container terminals
Sumatra lots are typically routed through Belawan (Medan), while Java lots depart from Tanjung Priok (Jakarta). Harvests from eastern islands are consolidated through Tanjung Perak (Surabaya), giving buyers a clear port of origin for every shipment.
Each lot is booked against the terminal closest to its origin, so transit distances from the farm to the quay stay short and handling stays predictable. Your sales contact will confirm the departure port and sailing window before stuffing begins.
Packing standards
Moisture-controlled packing for sea transit
Jute bags
60kg jute bags with GrainPro liners
Traditional 60kg jute sacks are fitted with GrainPro liners to create a moisture barrier around the green beans during the voyage. Bags are stitched closed and marked with lot, grade, and gross weight.
Bulk containers
Bulk container dry liners
For bulk shipments, containers are lined with dry liners and desiccants before loading. Wooden pallets keep the cargo raised off the floor, and each container is inspected before it is sealed for sea transit.
